Financial Aid Information

Hours of Operation

1. Squirrel Hill Campus: Monday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Tuesday–Thursday 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
2. Bellevue Campus: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
3. Cyber Beauty School (Online): 6:00 AM – 11:30 PM, 7 days a week

Flex Time Scheduling

You can attend either campus (or both) and choose to attend part-time or full-time. All scheduling is Flex Time, which means you create your own schedule during our open hours.

As long as you meet the weekly requirement (24 hours for part-time or 32 hours for full-time on average), you decide exactly which days and times you attend. This flexibility is designed for adults with busy lives, jobs, or family responsibilities.

New classes start every Monday. You can begin as soon as your financial aid is complete or a payment arrangement has been made.

Financial Aid & FAFSA

Many of our programs qualify for federal financial aid. To see what you may be eligible for, complete the 2026–2027 FAFSA (and the 2025–2026 FAFSA if needed).

We strongly recommend using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool when completing your FAFSA. This helps reduce the chance of being selected for verification. Be sure to answer all questions.

Once submitted, we typically receive your FAFSA report within 2–3 business days. We recommend scheduling a tour after you receive your report so we can review your funding options together.

Verification

If you are selected for verification, it usually only requires a few signatures. In some cases, additional documentation may be needed. The most common item requested is a signed tax return or tax return transcript.

Esthetician, Nail Tech & Combo Programs

These programs do not qualify for federal financial aid. However, you may be eligible for the PA Forward loan program through PHEAA. These are credit-based loans with reasonable rates, and repayment does not begin until 6 months after graduation. A co-signer may be used if needed.

Enrollment Requirements

1. High school diploma, transcript, or GED
2. Valid driver’s license, state ID, or passport

We recommend locating these documents now, as replacements can take weeks or months. You can securely upload them through our app or text photos to 724-625-3691.

Scheduling a Tour

We recommend completing your FAFSA before touring so we can discuss your funding options during your visit. However, we can also help you with the FAFSA during your tour if needed.

Please email us at admissions@fountainofyouthacademy.edu with the following information:

1. Your preferred start date
2. Full-time or part-time
3. Which program you’d like to enroll in

Once we receive your FAFSA report, we will send you an email along with the enrollment documents through BoldSign. Please check your spam folder regularly.

Program Lengths

1. Nail Tech: 200 hours (5–10 weeks)
2. Esthetician: 300 hours (8–16 weeks)
3. Esthetician & Nail Tech Combo: 600 hours (16–32 weeks)
4. Cosmetology: 1,250 hours (7.5–16 months)

Our Cosmetology program includes the full Esthetician and full Nail Tech programs, plus the hair portion of Cosmetology.
